1:1 FG42 type 1 Resin Dummy Armament
This is how to make the fore grip using resin instead the real wood. Two side Left-Right will be created separately and each side will cast into one side mold. After put them together, the extra resin will add to create the tight hole.
Since the rubber mold can produce highly detailed texture, I try using real wood for master model. Hoping the wood pores will simulating the wood stain. The following picture show the result of soft wood, need to reprocess using harder wood.
The better wood grip using hardwood and the texture is also good.
