Toyota FJ-40 1982 Diesel

The Toyota FJ40 is the model designation for a Toyota Land Cruiser 40 series made from 1960 until 1984. Most 40 series Land Cruisers were built as two-door vehicles with slightly bigger dimensions than a Jeep CJ.

Today I'm involved in restoration of FJ40 1982 Diesel Hard Top. This awful car has many missing original parts or replaced improperly. Originally was Dark Red Hard Top version. The car will convert into Canvas version (Soft Top), paint in desert scheme with combination of Light Brown and Beige Soft Top. Want to see more? 


Modeling this vehicle will very challenging but am dreaming to start this project next year. How about scale? I have no idea, maybe 1:48 or bigger and easy to custom.
